DMCA and takedown requests
If a hosted iterFact page infringes your copyright or trademark, send a takedown request and iterFact will review it. Include enough information for us to identify the work, the hosted URL, and the basis for the request.
Where to send a notice
Email paul@iterfact.com with the subject line DMCA Notice or Takedown Request.
Include the public URL, the work you believe is infringed, and a clear explanation of what should be removed or restricted.
What to include
A complete notice should include:
- Your name and contact information
- The iterFact URL or artifact URL in question
- The original work or right you believe is being infringed
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
- A statement that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act
What iterFact may do
iterFact may unpublish the public route, remove the page from Atlas or search-facing surfaces, or request clarification before deciding. In some cases the artifact may remain in the owner's private library while its public route is disabled.
If the publisher believes the takedown was made in error, iterFact may request a counter-notice before restoring public access.
